CLAMP is the manga group that's credited with creating Cardcaptor Sakura, as well as many more manga! CLAMP was originally formed of more than 10 members, but is now four women: (left to right in the picture) Tsubaki (Mick) Nekoi, Ageha (Nanase) Ohkawa, Satsuki Igarashi, and Mokona (Mokona Apapa). Originally doujinshi (fan-made comics) artists, CLAMP made their first original release in 1989, and built their inventory with some of their more popular and more earlier works such as RG Veda and Tokyo Babylon.

Some of CLAMP's major works include: Cardcaptor Sakura, X/1999, Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, Suki. Dakara Suki, Magic Knight Rayearth, Angelic Layer, Chobits, TSUBASA - RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - and xxxHOLIC.
